When you think of designing, building or renovating a family home in Charlotte, you think of Stephanie Calderon Interiors.
Born into a family of creatives, Stephanie Calderon found her love of design early, inspired by a grandmother who was a seamstress and owned her own business. Watching her create something beautiful from nothing planted a seed that never left. That passion grew into a celebrated career as a self-made, self-taught designer known for her warm energy, sharp eye, and fierce dedication to her clients.
As Principal Designer of Stephanie Calderon Interiors, Stephanie oversees every detail of every project, making sure each space captures her client's vision while reflecting the signature style the firm is known for.
Outside of work, she's usually tracking down Charlotte's best coffee, spending time with her puppy Blue, exploring the local food scene, or getting lost in a good book or podcast.

I worked with Stephanie to help design and select furniture for my new house. Stephanie was incredible from start to finish! She kicked things off getting to know me, my style, what pieces I was looking for, and my budget via a virtual call. From there, she worked through a couple iterations for selections. She picked the big pieces all the way down to plants and books for my coffee table. Incredibly thorough. She was patient and flexible with me as I provided feedback and worked through what I ultimately wanted. She was super responsive, professional, and fun the entire time - even despite my indecisiveness at times :). I’m still waiting on some of the furniture to come in but I’m really happy with all her selections - couldn’t recommend Stephanie strongly enough!

We worked with Stephanie to decorate our new home. This was a new process for us, and we were skeptical about finding a trustworthy person, who would stay within budget, and have a pragmatic approach. We also wanted to enjoy the process and the experience - as we had never hired an interior decorator before. Stephanie listened to our needs, and then applied a practical yet detailed process allowing us to fully understand the steps, timelines, expectations, and investment. Senior Designer
Originally from Connecticut and now based in Charlotte, NC, Mollie transitioned from studying English to pursuing her passion for Interior Design. Exploring her creative side has broadened her interests to not only designing unique and functional spaces, but also dabbling in activities such as calligraphy and cake decorating. Mollie enjoys a good book, traveling abroad, spending time with family and friends, and taking her dog on adventures to the Whitewater Center.
Leonie Becker
SENIOR DESIGNER
Originally from Germany, Leonie brings a global perspective to every design, inspired by years of traveling and experiencing different styles along the way. With nearly 10 years in the industry, she loves creating spaces that feel unique, colorful, and full of personality. When she's not working with clients, you can usually find her diving into something creative - designing wallpaper, painting, making digital art, reading, or even doing nail design. Creativity is kind of her thing, and it shows up in everything she does!
Claire Stanford
Operations + Procurement Manager
With a background in hospitality and project management, Claire brings with her a love for people and an eye for detail. She plays a critical role in negotiating with suppliers, ordering materials, and tracking deliveries to guarantee timely project completion. When she’s not managing design logistics, you can find her in her charming home town of Davidson filling life with good coffee, great community, and prepping for the next event she’s hosting.
BLUE
Barketing Manager
Blue comes from a very cushy background and is currently adjusting to the concept of… work. Progress is being made (slowly).
When he’s not barking orders at unsuspecting vendors, he’s typically found sleeping on the job or supervising snack breaks with questionable integrity and zero remorse.
Despite his unique management style, Blue remains an invaluable morale booster and certified good boy.
